Effect of Doxorubicin and Etoposide on COX4 expression in Breast Cancer Cell-line (MDA-MB 231) under Hypoxia
Another successful year of my Masters where I had been a part of Project entitled "Effect of Doxorubicin and Etoposide on CoxIV Gene Expression in MDA-MB 231 Breast Cancer Cell line under Hypoxia". I completed the objectives of such a mouthful title on time thanks to my mentor and supporter Dr. Sandeep Singh, Associate Prof. Department of Human Genetics and Molecular Medicine, and also thanks to rest lab associates who not only guided me throughout but also shared fun with me. I learned few new techniques of Molecular Biology like synthesis of cDNA, and got exposure of few others like handling of Flow Cytometer.

Phytochemical analysis and medicinal properties of Cymbopogon citratus
During the last year of my bachelor's, I was engaged in a Project entitled " Phytochemical Analysis and Medicinal Properties of the Cymbopogon citratus (Lemon Grass)" as a pre-requisite for the fulfillment of the Bachelor's Degree. I was very fortunate to have Dr. Mahavir Joshi as my Project Supervisor who not only turned me into a good researcher but also made me better in my academics. His constant care about me and my career morphed me into what I am today. Under his guidance, I was able to learn various analytical techniques regarding Phytochemicals including Soxhlet Apparatus, TLC, Paper Chromatography, handling and maintenance of Bacterial and Fungal cultures, and last but not least the isolation techniques of DNA and Plasmid from Bacteria.
